STEP ONE: How to add separate text and pictures using tables with your html editor
You need to open one of your web pages in the HTML Editor prior to adding links to your page. Click here for directions on opening your HTML Editor
First make the decision where on your web page you wish to put a table. And how many rows and or columns it will have.
You can always add more rows or columns later. But lets says we decided on a 3x3 which means 3 rows wide and 3 rows
Left click on your web page in the location you wish to put the table. Put the cursor on the location.
Click the Table button on the toolbar. (shown below)
STEP TWO: After you click the Insert Table button you will see this screen come up. Edit the options how you choose.
How many rows and how many columns.
Then press the insert button (shown below)
STEP THREE: Now you have a table on your web page. You can put text and pictures inside your tables and then center them within the cells of the table. You can also right click on a table and you get this handy options menu (shown below)
In this menu you have a table properties option which can adjust many settings such as the color of the tables borders to making the table invisible (you can still see it in design view)
You also see a delete row and delete column option which helps you edit it how you wish. You can also insert rows and columns here as well.
Once your tables are on the site you can put your text and pictures inside of them for a much cleaner more organized look. (shown below)
YOU MUST PRESS THE SAVE BUTTON FOR CHANGES TO GO LIVE ONLINE.
WHEN YOU EXAMINE YOUR WORK IN A WEB BROWSER DO NOT FORGET TO HIT THE REFRESH BUTTON IN YOUR WEB BROWSER OR YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR CHANGES.
