How to login to the HTML Editor

STEP ONE: LOGIN TO HTML EDITOR

In your web browser visit this address http://yourdomainname.com:2082 (replace the words yourdomainname.com with your actual domain name)

You can also login to Cpanel with the direct login link sent to you by your hosting company.

You will get a pop up asking for the username and password. (This you received from us and your hosting company)

If your username or password does not work then contact your web host.

Once you enter the username and password you are logged into your Cpanel Control Panel.

Click on the icon labeled "File Manager" (shown in pic below)

STEP TWO: After you clicked that File Manager icon the file manager area appears. (Shown below)

The file manager allows you to control your sites files, pages, pictures.

On the left menu you have the main folders that support your sites functions. One of them is named public_html and this is where all of your web site files belong.

Click on the public_html folder in the left menu.

You will notice in the screenshot below your web site file names are in the column to the right. Pick the page you wish to edit first by clicking the selection box next to the pages name. If you wish to edit the home page of your site first. That page is named index.html Just click on the selection box next to index.html and then click the HTML Editor button on the tool bar at the top of your screen. This will open your web page in the HTML editor for quick and easy editing of the the sites text, pictures, backgrounds, colors Ect..

note: If your file manager area does not look exactly like this picture below you must click the little yellow folder icon to the left of the words public_html folder in order to enter the public_html folder. You may also have to select the page you wish to edit before you will see the HTML Editor option.

STEP THREE: SUCCESS When you have opened your web page in the HTML Editor it looks like this screenshot below. You can see your web page and there is a toolbar that runs along the top of the page. Inside the HTML Editor you can type directly onto your web page. You can add pictures to your site. You can change the color of anything you wish.

This toolbar allows you to manipulate your site.
