Adding / editing pictures to your your web site using the HTML editor
ALL IMAGES MUST BE UPLOADED IN FILE MANAGER PRIOR TO INSERTING THEM WITH THE HTML EDITOR

STEP ONE: Adding / editing pictures to your your web site using the HTML editor
You need to open one of your web page in the HTML Editor prior to adding links to your page. Click here for directions on opening your HTML Editor
Once you are inside your HTML Editor just click the location on your page where you wish to insert your picture and click the location. (this puts the cursor on the spot you chose)
Then click on the insert / Edit Image button on the toolbar (shown below)
STEP TWO: Once you have clicked on the Insert / Edit Images button you will see this window appear.
This window shows you all of the images that you have uploaded into the Public_html folder.
Just check the image that you wish to insert and click the insert button )shown below)
STEP THREE: YOU MUST PRESS THE SAVE BUTTON FOR CHANGES TO GO LIVE ONLINE.
WHEN YOU EXAMINE YOUR WORK IN A WEB BROWSER DO NOT FORGET TO HIT THE REFRESH BUTTON IN YOUR WEB BROWSER OR YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR CHANGES.
STEP FOUR: If you wish to resize your pictures just left click on it once in the HTML Editor.
You will notice it puts a highlight border with little square boxes around the perimeter of the picture. (shown below)
Then using your mouse click the highlighted pictures corner and drag (hold down the left click and slide your mouse) This will adjust the size of the picture and make it fit how you like it. Grabbing the top and bottom just makes it taller or wider but the corner grab keeps it in proportion.
Don't forget to click the save button when you are finished.
Once a picture is inserted you may then copy and paste that picture from page to page in your site or move it around the same page using the copy and paste feature.
TIP: If you want to make rows or columns or boxes on your site visible or invisible use the insert tables feature.. Its a great way to keep a clean organized look to your web site and is very needed in order to locate a picture or text in an exact spot on your web page.
